In the summer of 1943, the German military went on an offensive to retake the strategic region of Kursk on the Eastern Front. The Tiger unit commanded by Michael Wittman dealt a heavy blow to the Soviets at first, but facing a Soviet counteroffensive, his unit was forced to retreat. A story of true military greatness, as the demands of managing this retreat showed Wittmann to be the brilliant commander he was.
