Summary

After her mother’s death, Louise is left destitute with her only inheritance being a mysterious pearl. Unaware of its immense value as an imperial heirloom, Louise attempts to pawn it to fund her mother’s burial. However, Crown Prince Cauis, disguised as the Margrave of Burg ever since he was betrayed by Louise’s mother, manipulates Louise to have her pay for her dead mother’s sins.
