Summary

Twenty years ago, the witch Speecy was falsely accused and exiled from the royal capital, driven to live out her days in a remote frontier. Now, decades later, a mysterious young knight appears before her, asking for her help. Acting on orders from the king, he begs Speecy to investigate the cause behind the royal capital’s looming collapse. “…No thanks,” she replies flatly. Left to its own devices, the pitiful kingdom seems to be on the verge of destroying itself anyway.
