Summary

After her noble family falls to ruin, Stella Embrose does whatever she can to make ends meet. But her departure from high society only sparks rumors about her supposed messy relationships with men. These false rumors reach the ears of Duke Callian Rochester, Stella's unrequited first love and her to-be husband under the emperor's ploy to keep him in check. Believing Stella to be unworthy of him, Callian hands her a contract stating they will divorce in three years.
